Soveldaja Dance Club
Soveldaja Dance Club was founded in the fall of 2022 under the leadership of ensemble members David Truusa and Roosmarii Sarapuu. In the dance club, participants dance to live music, performing both well-known and lesser-known folk dances as well as older group dances.
No prior experience or preparation is expected from participants. Dance steps are manageable for everyone and are taught on the spot. Foreigners need not to worry: guidance is provided in English if needed.
By prior arrangement, you can also join the Soveldaja band that plays music for dancing on site. Dance clubs are held once a month at the TLÜ campus. Participation fee is 5 € cash.

Musical troupe
The Soveldaja musical troupe was formed in the fall of 2022 as live music was needed for the dance clubs. The group has both amateur and professional musicians from Soveldaja, as well as members from outside the ensemble. The main instruments are the violin, guitar, and accordion. In addition to playing at the dance club, the musicians have performed at Soveldaja concerts and private events, accompanying the ensemble.
